    • A kindergarten teacher can prepare his students for our quickly changing world by understanding and meeting the standards set by common core

    • Make sense of problems and persevere in solving them. Know number names and the count sequence.

    • Describing shapes and space. More learning time in Kindergarten should be devoted to number than to other topics.
